AMBITION IS THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS

Success

Would you like to live in one of the countries with the highest quality of life in the world?

We understand that starting a life in a foreign country can be challenging, which is why we also arrange all your necessities and provide guidance on all procedures to help you start your first steps easily and comfortably.

Get to know Switzerland

Surely you have heard of, visited or even lived in Switzerland, but do you really know Switzerland?

Let us give you a general idea about Switzerland and its languages told from our experience and giving examples from home.

Cultural diversity

Switzerland has an area approximately half that of Andalusia, but almost the same number of inhabitants.

Four languages are officially spoken, most of them 63% speak German or its Swiss dialect (Schweizerdeutsch), followed by French with 23% of the population in the cantons closest to France, Italian with around one 10% of speakers are reduced almost to the canton of Ticino and border towns with this country and 1% speak Romansh, (yes, this is a language and it comes from Latin) and basically it is spoken in the eastern part of the country, in cantons close to Italy and Austria.

The two most widely spoken foreign languages in Switzerland are English and Portuguese, and according to a 2019 study by the OFE (Federal Statistical Office)  almost 24% of the population do not speak none of the national languages as the main language. What does this mean? that Switzerland is a country of great cultural diversity.

Although Switzerland is often said to be in the heart of the Alps, because the southern half is located in the mountain range, Switzerland shares it with seven other countries: Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Liechtenstein, Monaco and Slovenia.

Leisure and free time

We arrive in Switzerland and its impressive landscapes, for us and many others, one of its greatest charms.

If you like mountain sports... you have reached the promised land, the only thing Switzerland lacks is sea, otherwise... you have a choice, one of the best places to train: mountain running, mountaineering, hiking , paragliding, skiing, snowboarding, Norwegian walking, ice skating, hockey, ice climbing, rock climbing, via ferrata and an infinity of other sports that you will be wanting to practice along with its beautiful views.

I had a fantastic experience working with David from Next-Nest. He went above and beyond in helping me search for a job, offering invaluable advice on how to communicate with employers face-to-face. What truly stood out was David’s personal experience—he’s been through the same path as many of us in this field, so he completely understood my challenges and provided guidance based on his own journey.

Having lived in Swizterland for quite some time, David has built solid connections with local companies, which allowed him to offer me excellent opportunities. Even after I got the job, I felt comfortable reaching out to him for further advice on getting accustomed to the local customs and the Swiss way of life. His ongoing support and local knowledge have been invaluable.

If you’re looking for someone who truly cares and has the expertise to guide you in your career journey, I highly recommend David and Next-Nest.
