Unlike other consultancies, Next-Nest was born from my own experience after more than 1 year working in the gastronomy sector in Switzerland helping friends and acquaintances to settle down, advising them on how to carry out all the procedures step by step to search and find different types of work, it was decided to face the problem of finding staff, especially in Alpine villages where large hotels are conditioned by the high seasonality of winter and summer. This situation means that most of the staff work for a period of 3 to 4 months and end up leaving for other companies with greater job stability and where they can settle for a longer period of time.

Having experienced these experiences first-hand, I know the importance and pressure for hotels to have to replenish their staff every season and how frustrating it can be to have to train a whole new team every season, who have never worked together before. These places and Alpine villages also have a remarkable characteristic, their internationality. Being such well-known places, staff from all parts of Europe come looking for work but with the added difficulty of finding a common language, since not everyone speaks English, French, German or Italian.

 

As a company, I am responsible for advising on how to find the right position for each candidate, organizing them according to their skills and adapting them to the needs of the requesting companies, to try to ensure that the right person reaches the right company and that communication and work between the two parties is as fruitful and effective as possible.
